There is something about being on a plane with wifi that inspires me. Add that and a group of Tupperware consultants on my flight heading to their conference #Jubilee13 and now I’m missing my direct sales days.
As much as I LOVE Directly Successful, I’m not gonna lie…I MISS traveling with friends every six months to National Trainings and yearly conventions.
I miss all the before trip prepping and primping.
You know, the nails, toes, tan, haircut and color, fancy dresses, spankx, new outfits… *sigh* My poor white body hasn’t seen a spray tan in 2 years! These girls look like they are having a BLAST!

I miss the crazy motivation/stress to get my class presentations done.
The nightmares of forgetting my notes/no one signing up for my classes/people walking out. The thrill of standing in front of the room of women giddy with the learning they are doing. The power of the microphone. The line of people after class with questions, comments and the thing I NEVER could wrap my head around…people who wanted their picture taken with me…seriously? But STILL so fun and yep, I miss it!
I miss the motivation of attending classes taught by other consultants whose ideas made my head spin, my creativity kick in and light bulbs fire at their sheer brilliance. Keynote speakers who made me feel invincible. More often than not, the casual gatherings in the lobby or out at a club were where ideas hatched, friendships were made and bonding occurred. I miss that.

Working for myself has a multitude of perks and benefits, but I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to missing the production put on by the corporate office and the excuse to leave the family at home for some fun girl time.
So, it is up to you all to fill me in on your latest conference, training or incentive trip! Comment with the details, the ahas, the things that you LOVE about making the trek.
I’m full on living vicariously through you guys now…comment and make me feel like I was there with you! (Please excuse my lily white legs!)
